Since 2005 Elvis & Kresse have been rescuing raw materials, transforming them into luxury lifestyle accessories and donating 50% of profits back to charities. James Henrit (Elvis), the craftsman, spent an incredible five years perfecting a billfold wallet made from upcycled fire hose and military parachute silk. Elvis and Kresse say, ‘Our process emulates kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. The refurbished pieces are worth significantly more than their new, undamaged counterparts.’
